Haha. I'm really happy these two days. Hehe. Got a treat to swensens yesterday (ok, that means I gonna treat the next time, but that's fine), got back my DO test paper (which surprisingly, I did better than what I thought, though my mum was kind of disappointed that I didn't get full marks), received a call from taiwan, and for today, presentation was over! Haha. I think I spent lots of time understanding the paper, and coming up with the presentation slides. Luckily my lecturer knew I put in effort.

Seriously, I think I'm the kind who will cry during commencement. Haha. I didn't cry last year because I wasn't exactly graduating. Tears of joy, tears of satisfaction, as well as tears of fear. I remember few days before the start of my first semester in nus, I told my teacher: I'm scared. It's like, you restart your game and your score starts from 0. Your hi-score is only reflected as a hi-score, it's no bonus to your new game. And now, I'm starting to have this same feeling again. But I know, this feeling will go off eventually, and return when I'm about to proceed to the next stage of my life.

ok, gonna go and sleep now. Have to wake up early for my DO tutorial. The good thing is, most likely prof sun won't ask me to present my solution tomorrow. :)

Most of the time, I don't remember what I wrote in my blog posts. Haha. I know they're studies related, but I don't recall the details.

My junior quoted something from my blog during his talk. I was nodding as he read the quote, thinking how come it doesn't rhyme. Haha. I was so surprised when he said he took it from my blog. Luckily my reflex action was to stare at him with a "huh?!", and nothing too violent like falling off from my chair. Hmm. Maybe I should stand up and bow? Haha. But seriously, I didn't expect anyone to quote anything from my blog.

Attending my junior's talk brought me memories of my honours year. Not so much of what I said during my talks, but the support and encouragement I got from my friends along the way. I feel that, being able to face the audiences and examiner takes not only hard work and calmness on my part, but also courage. This courage has its source in the people around me. I know most of them hope I'll do well. :)

Back to the present. I was heavily fined by the school library. Haha. I think either there's something wrong with my email, or the library changed their system. They used to send us reminders two days before the book is due, and they'll start imposing fines after the third overdue notice. Hmm. I need to keep track of the due dates from now on.

By the way, I sat on the doraemon train just now. Haha. I didn't take out my phone to snap a picture of the train, as it was kind of crowded. There're doraemon buses too! Advertising for the 7-11 promotion whereby you'll receive a doraemon magnet free for every $5 you spend. Haha. Don't expect anything like the pignet and donald duck magnets I posted last time. Anyway, here is the magnet I got from buying sweets and juices.

Haha. The photo is a bit blur. I think there's some built-in function in MATLAB which allows us to do image correction or whatsoever. Maybe I should spend some time exploring it when I'm free. Oh well, that'll be one month later. Sigh. I think I didn't do that well for my discrete optimization test, and I went to the library to zap the relevant chapters from two textbooks just now. Gonna find time to digest them. :(

Long time since my last post. Haha. I'm half dead coping with the wavelets assignments, but... still alive. No time to blog. Haha. 5 more weeks of lessons. After which I'll have the luxury of having two weeks to study for one exam. Lol. For now, I wonder if I'll be able to survive these 5 weeks in the first place.

Everyone (in school) seems rather tired and stressed over their modules. Sigh. Oh well, it's a good in the sense that we're all struggling together and none of us is going through any torture alone.

I whined in class for the first time last night. Haha. That's when the lecturer wanted to extend the 3 hours lecture to 4 hours next time. There goes my image. Lol. But anyway, he promised that if he extends the lecture, we can end the whole class early by not having to go back on the last week. This sounds like a fair deal.

Hope everybody is doing well. Shall be going for retail therapy later. Haha. Hope it'll release my stress. :)
