My student finally sent me the photos we took during our last tuition session. Haha. No chance to nag at her now. 'O' level results were released yesterday. Oh man, her turn is coming soon.

It has been a long week. I guess unpleasant things just have to happen at the same time. Their combined force made my stress level shot up. I think it is now gradually dropping back to the healthy range. There are two kinds of problems: some can be solved whereas some cannot be solved. Haha, this sounds so duh. However, sometimes, it is not easy to identify one type from another. Reason being, we are affected by our emotions.

If a problem cannot be solved, practically speaking, we should not devote energy to it. It's like pushing against a wall, it won't move, and no work is considered done. Emotionally, there are some people or things that we hope to retain in our lives, and sometimes, problems arise because we are unwilling to let go of them.

In some cases, when we are being surrounded by problems, we tend to magnify them, for we do not see the world outside them. Try jumping out of these problems, and we may realize that some of them can be rather trivial in the first place.

I feel that last week is a test of how much I have matured over the years and how much good my past problem solving experiences have done to me. We all have to grow up one day.

Over the years, I am trying very hard not to bring family problems and friendship problems into school, and not to bring problems I faced in school beyond the buona vista station.

Just yesterday, I realized that my ability to multi task has improved. I was discussing my thesis with my supervisor, and I was making noise about somebody under my breathe. Haha. It's still a fruitful discussion ok. I gave my supervisor my full attention nevertheless. My curse for the other person is just part of my breathing, hence does not affect my other activities. Lol. Sounds so scary.

Time to get ready for my v.day celebration. Haha.
