An unproductive week. I guess I'm reaching the point of feeling really burnt out from research and stuff. It is hindering my progress. So I guess I should put all the stuff aside and do nothing for the next few days. I hope this helps. I hope when the semester starts on the week after, I'm geared up for all the challenges ahead. :)

Received an email from the department. It stated some of the changes to our current graduate programme. For the 2007 cohort and after, completing masters in one year is next to impossible if one wants to obtain grades like A and A+ throughout. Not only is the workload increased, they have to take graduate modules in replace for our exposure level 4000 modules. Furthermore, from next semester onwards, seminar module is going to be more demanding. As for the changes in graduation requirement for phd, my dream bubble of doing phd burst. I guess I should make more concrete plans to climb my way up for my teaching career, or start up my own business.

Finally watched deathnote 2. Enjoyed the movie, although I must comment that the manga is way more engaging. I think they've a good taste when it comes to choosing the actors and actresses. They all have great resemblance to the characters in the manga. :) Forgot to take a picture with the big poster in cineleisure.

Dinner was great and was of affordable price. Haha. Just foot the credit card bill. Not forgetting the amount I paid using nets. I think I must reduce my expenditure next month. Haha. I miss tuition. Without tuition, both my heart and wallet feel empty. Lol. Will upload the pictures later.

Really glad to see my IT club juniors and CZ again. Haha. The last time I met up with my juniors was during my undergraduate year 1 or year 2. :P Glad to know that all of them are currently coping well and happy with their lives. I felt a bit uneasy talking to them at first, but it got better after a while.

Had a guest staying over in my house over the past few days. I think my mum is really happy to have her with us. Finally someone to talk to her at home. Haha. My dad and I usually ignore her when we're doing our work. That is, before she starts screaming at us. Haha. Brought her to walk along orchard road, all the way to esplanade on the first day afternoon. Brought her to the market for breakfast in the morning. And for the rest of the days, I gave her the directions and she went exploring on her own. Despite our different lifestyles and everything, I had a good time chatting with her. Sigh. Now that she is gone, I kind of missed her. All the photos are in her camera. Got to wait for her to send them to me.

Haha. It sounds like quite a happening week for me. Lol.

2006 is going to be over in less than 2 hours time. Here's wishing everyone a brilliant year ahead.
