I'm back. Super tiring trip. Lots of walking. Haha. And I realize that
  1. my voice can be quite sweet. Especially when I was asking for directions. Haha. I thought I should sound sweet, so that people would be more willing to help.
  2. my sense of direction can be quite good when there's a need for it to be good.
  3. I really missed my parents when I was craving for restaurant food in Hong Kong and when I was tired of walking.
  4. my dress sense differs from fellow Singaporeans, but along the streets in Hong Kong, I saw many with similar dress sense.
  5. the salesgirls there know more than just standing around and bringing your stuff to the cashier.
  6. there's always this sense of urgency and competitiveness in hong kongers.
  7. guys enjoy shopping as much as girls.

Hong Kong is such a shopping paradise. We could have shopped more if we got to spend one or two more days there. :) Ocean Park and Disneyland are good tourist attractions. Had great fun there. Everyday, there's so much to see, so much to do, so much to enjoy. Now, it's again back to reality, back to my thesis and so on.

I received this shocking email from math department, asking a few of us to gather feedback from our fellow math majors bout having a lunch gathering to celebrate our commencement. Sigh. This must be my retribution for constantly bugging the math department. Anyway, I just hope that my friends will reply to our emails so that we can feedback to the department next week. Argh. No easy task. :( Or perhaps, this just isn't my cup of tea.
